Acre is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the bill of materials, purchasing, vendor relations, and inventory.
Location– Remote or Reno Office
You are resourceful and a “velvet hammer”. You know how to make things happen, being firm and persistent, yet very personable and friendly . You work diligently to ensure progress is made across active projects, and will hammer the phones and email until that is achieved.
You love detail. You are excited to dive in and learn all of the components of an Acre home, who the vendors are, and you’re curious about how each component functions.
You are highly organized. You love to put things in their place and make sense of complexity. Acre homes are assemblies of hundreds of items that need to be sorted, kept current, ordered in the correct time frame, and tracked across multiple projects.
You are curious and strive to make improvements. You are interested in making things better, finding alternatives, cutting costs, and increasing speed.
You are great at researching. You are a master of search and can find the resource no matter where it hides.
